SeWalk AI ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI-powered multi-persona assistant platform operated by Soumyadip Bhatt, based in India. SeWalk AI is accessible at https://sewalk-ai-0e0188.netlify.app.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service. By using SeWalk AI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
💡 Short version: We only collect your name and email when you sign in with Google. We do not sell your data to anyone. Ever.
What We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our service. When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Your name — used to personalise your experience
- Your email address — used as your account identifier
- Your Google profile picture — displayed in the app interface
We do not collect passwords, payment information, location data, device identifiers, or any sensitive personal information.
Your Conversations
Chat messages you send to SeWalk AI are processed by the Google Gemini API to generate responses. For signed-in users, chat sessions are stored in our database (Supabase) so you can access them later.
For guest users (not signed in), chat messages are stored only in your browser's local memory and are permanently deleted when you close the browser tab.
⚠️ Important: Do not share sensitive personal information, passwords, financial details, or confidential data in chat messages.
Why We Collect It
We use your information only to:
- Create and manage your SeWalk AI account
- Save and sync your chat sessions across devices
- Display your name and avatar in the app interface
- Send important service updates (not marketing emails)
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating the service.
Services We Use
SeWalk AI uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Google Gemini API — processes your chat messages to generate AI responses. Subject to Google's AI Terms.
- Supabase — stores your account information and chat sessions securely. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth — handles sign-in authentication. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Netlify — hosts our website and backend functions. Subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy.
How We Protect Your Data
We take security seriously. Your data is protected by:
- HTTPS encryption on all data transmitted to and from our service
- Supabase Row Level Security — only you can access your own data
- API keys stored in secure server-side environment variables, never exposed to browsers
- Google OAuth — we never see or store your Google password
Your Rights Under Indian IT Law
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time

Children's Privacy
SeWalk AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of SeWalk AI after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
